This is an excellent opportunity for year 12 students to visit four different London universities and the Royal Courts of Justice. Students will have the unique experience of trying out lectures, seminars and language tasters, as well as taking part in a mock murder trial at the Royal Courts of Justice. This event is free of charge and places will be allocated on the basis of Widening Participation criteria and teacher recommendation.

Students will experience different aspects of law, sample different languages and learn how the two disciplines complement each other at four of Routes into Languages London/Capital L’s partners: SOAS, King’s College London, the University of Roehampton and the University of Westminster. Dates are:

Monday 9 July– SOAS, University of London

Tuesday 10 July– King’s College London

Wednesday 11 July– University of Roehampton

Thursday 12 July– University of Westminster

Friday 13 July – Royal Courts of Justice/SOAS
