A new project that is being led by the University of Westminster’s Law School, is aiming to support young people’s participation in society, by giving them a voice and forum to examine and discuss what really matters to them. The ‘Young people and society’ project is working with students aged 16-17, to identify the issues of primary concern to them and will consist of focus groups and a conference hosted by the Westminster Law School for young people, students, teachers, academics and policy makers on Monday 25 June.

The project aims to help enhance confidence and skills and is a chance for students to influence research on issues that are important to them. It will also give students a flavour of the opportunities provided by the Law School and university as a whole.
