The latest Language Trends Survey for 2016/17 was launched in June 2017 and investigates the state of language learning in primary and secondary schools in England.  This year’s report includes an analysis of provision for languages in primary and secondary schools, examination statistics, a look at transition between Key Stages 2 and 3, the take up of languages in secondary schools and also language teacher supply and training in secondary schools.

The Language Trends Survey is now available to download from the British Council’s website. Click here for more information.
